Bob Sobczyk

Bob Sobczyk is a veteran gaming executive with more than 30 years’ experience as a manager for some of the industry’s leading companies.   Since breaking into the business as a slot technician in 1993, Bob has risen through the ranks to become the Corporate Vice President of Casino Operations for Pinnacle Entertainment, and more recently, Vice President of Casino Operations for Caesar’s Entertainment, where he was responsible for the gaming operations of all of the company’s Las Vegas Strip and Atlantic City properties.

  

Bob is familiar with all facets of gaming operations from both a business and technical perspective, having substantial experience in budget management, vendor negotiations, launching guest service initiatives, and many other relevant areas.  Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University, and has served on the board of directors of the Gaming Standards Association, a worldwide industry group that focuses on electronic gaming machine standards.
